YES, I will marry you!
I am now the ecstatic fiancee of Mr. Cameron Horwitz! He popped the question on my birthday—Saturday, February 12th—making my 28th the BEST birthday I've had yet.
THE PROPOSAL
We were dining at the new Eddie V's on Kirby to celebrate my birthday with my mom and step-dad. The hostess sat us at a corner booth/table and we ordered our first round of drinks. After toasting to my birthday, Cameron announced that he'd like to make another toast—this one to our relationship. And this is where things begin to blur due to all my excitement. He made some sweet comments about us as a couple then said he wanted to give me my birthday present early. He stood up from the table, walked around to my side of the booth, got down on one knee, opened the box and asked "Will you marry me?" And, of course, I said "YES!"
Now let the fun of wedding planning begin!

Love the proposal, not every guy would do it in front of the mom. You two are very lucky to have each other. The ring is absolutely gorgeous. Wishing you the best for your future together.
Thank you, Brenda! You are so right—he is a brave guy and I am a lucky girl!
